We were up around 5:30 this morning to go and catch the sunrise over Ulura and The Olgas, wasn't as good as sunset but still very pretty!

Did the other half of the base of Uluru guided by a ranger, so learnt a bit more about the aboriginal culture there and 'handback' of Uluru to the native people. Saw some cave drawings and nice little waterholes. I accidentally took a piccie of a 'sacred site' which apparently brings bad luck so i deleted it! im scared!

Went over to The Olgas, which are pretty darn cool. Im told there are 37 individual domes! We did a walk into a gorge in the middle, supposedly was in the shade but it was completely exposed so we didnt hang around long as even though it was slightly cooler today, it was still in the 40's!

Went back to Yulura campsite, used their pool and showers....yay! We amused ourselves by doing 'The Lift' from Dirty Dancing! me and Chad started it, while everyone else stood by and sang 'I've had the time of my life' .....lotsa fun!

Drove up to a campsite near King's Canyon, had stirfry for dinner and some 'goon' which in Oz is crappy cask wine! Me and Louise sat by the fire doing peter kay impressions.... "its dougie....are you on the floor? are your lips blue?" "sorry dougie, it were me grandson, he thought emergency cord were toilet light"

well it kept us amused!
