Drove to King's Canyon...its absolutely incredible! Did the 6km Rim Walk, which starts on what the guides fondly call 'Heart Attack Hill'! its very steep and made out of rocky steps, and takes you to the top of the ridge. We all survived that, then carried on round the edge of the canyon, just taking in the views. Halfway through the walk you go through the 'garden of eden' which has several nice waterholes, one of which you can swim in. it was really beautiful and we were all quite happily splashing about, until Joe told us that because its the only place you can go for a wee on the 6km walk, its known between the guides as a bit of a communal toilet, which is why they didnt go in!! nice!

Went to Kings Canyon Resort, made use of their pool and showers - tehe! After that we drove quite a long way to the Western Macdonnell Ranges National Park, where we camped for the night. had a really nice bbq for dinner, its our last night in swags! so sad! drank lots of goon and had all sorts of singsongs round the campfire!
