We checked out of the hostel just in time to get our key deposit back, and headed down the road for a wake-up coffee. After that, made our way into central sydney, did a bit of shopping, i needed a new battery charger as i lost mine ... oops!! checked emails etc then went and got on the greyhound bus from central station.

Four hours and lots of flycatching later, we were in sunny Canberra!! Its very small compared to Sydney, and very clean, lots of people in suits around! We checked into YHA Canberra, dumped our stuff and headed to the Transit Bar, a bar under the hostel with live music and pool tables, and happy hour prices on drinks if you show your room key...perfect.

We played pool for a while there before heading to a bar down the road advertising kareoke, everyone was just having a laugh, not taking it seriously, so we decided to have a go!! Eddy got the crowd going with 'Hound Dog' and then i joined him on the stage for 'Sweet Home Alabama' - good fun!

The boys carried on after that to a few bars etc but i was pretty tired so headed on home to bed.
