Our second day on the boat! Our bed last night was so comfy i really didn't want to get up this morning, but we were on a strict schedule so we had too :( Breakfast was served @ 7am…. WTF and as it was included we thought it would be rude not to be ready! Then we had to be ready by 8am to leave the boat and visit one of the best caves in ha long bay 'The Surprising Cave' needless to say this cave was very surprising….

We had to climb us a fair few amount of stairs to reach the cave, it was pretty awesome inside but nothing in comparison to the caves to swam in in Mexico, so unlike a lot of the tourists we were pretty underwhelmed and made the whole visit a very sarcastic one.

Our guide was pointing out many different rocks there were supposed to look like things, such as elephants, turtles ect People were actually leaving money for the rock that looked like a turtle, can you believe it?! Apparently its a sacred animal in Vietnam, Along with the Unicorn.. Seriously, I made every aware of my surprise when she said this. I'm not sure if they realise unicorns aren't really?! Along with the dragon that apparently lives in the caves. But who am i to burst anyones hopes and dreams.

After getting back to the boat we had to pack all our stuff and check out of the rooms, I suppose so they could get it ready for the next lot of people!

We had lunch aswell, it was a mix & match of traditional vietnamese lunch which was very interesting and i didn't really eat much. Apart from buying a snickers, best part of the lunch!

Once lunch was finished we had docked up where we began and disembarked the boat. BYE BOAT! Now we had another 3 hour journey back to Ha Noi where we were going to spend another night. We got back about 4pm and checked into a very lovely hotel 'Splendora' It was massively cheap for what it was like £15 for the night. We had welcome flannels, drinks and fruit. Amaze.

& Our room was lush and had a particularly comfy bed!

We went for another walk in the evening to try and find somewhere to eat, we ended up back at the rockshop where we had drinks the other night. We both took on burgers and beer, apart from tonight wasn't happy hour, bad times :( So no 2 4 1 beer!

We were both pretty tired so we headed back to head down in our comfy bed! We had to be up @ 4am at we had a fight @ 8am well this is what we thought! Just as we were about to go to sleep i had an email from Vietnam airlines to say our flight had to been from 8am to 6am, NOOO! This now meant getting up @ 3am to make sure we were there on time. FML.
