Sorry we haven't updated the website for so long. We've had some difficulties with the laptop and with our motivation levels!

My Mum, sister and her kids were here a couple of weeks ago for a visit. We did lots of touristy things that I'd been waiting to do since we got here. Then Nigel visited for a couple of days this week, which was great.

Other than that I've spent most days taking Max to the beach, reading and relaxing.

This will be our last update from Cairns. Tomorrow we head to Port Douglas for 5 nights, staying at a resort with a 'swim up bar' (that was an important selling point!). The van will be in storage for that time and Max will be at a pet resort (obviously a fancy marketing name for a kennel - but it worked on us!). Then we'll start heading south.
