I thought this website was a great idea - the problem is that wireless broadband doesn't work through the parts of Australia we've been to so far. So all of this will be loaded sometime after the event.
We're having a great time! We've had 2½ days of pretty intense travel, but are planning a rest day tomorrow. NSW has some fantastic free camps on the side of the highways, so that's where we spent the first two nights - the first just out of Broken Hill and the second just out of Bourke. The camps have basic toilet facilities (which we avoid like the plague in favour of our lovely, clean, new facilities in our van), camp fires, BBQs and fenced playground areas. The playground areas are great for giving Max some off-lead time.
We're now in a caravan site in Charleville, Queensland. We arrived this afternoon at around 2:30pm and will stay here for two nights. It'll be nice to have a day out of the car, doing some touristy things instead of staring at the countryside.
Everything is going fairly smoothly so far. We had some issues with hooking up to the electricity at the caravan site today. Despite the assistance of a number of obviously bored grey nomads it was Brenton's persistence that fixed it.

Love my new portable kennel!
