Hiya guys, well we got a car yesterday so we are really going to discover oz now (thats if it runs). It cost us $2600 (about 360 pound each) its not much to look at but ive got faith in it and its got a big old 3.8 lieter engine so it should get us around. We decided yesterday that the best way for us to get around and see everything would be by car (and i miss driving) so we got up and headed out to see what was on the market.. we ended up in a car dealership called travellers auto barn and got chatting to a swiss guy called Dave. He showed us around a couple of pricey $4500 cars before we told him thats a little over our budget, so he showed us to the back and there it was shining in the sun. After a brief discussion and a spin around the block (by the way I poped the hood and pretended I knew about cars) we decided to go for it. So the mission today is to plan our journey to Melbourne (oh and it an automatic).

So last night we decided to wet the Babies head so to speak and after a few cheep drinks at the hostel we headed out into town (it was blowing a gale out by the way) so after ariving at the Irish bar a little wind swept, we had a few shandies and watched the live band. By the end of the night it was time to head off back with a pritty girl called Doner. She was really tasty with a bit of meat on her but quite slim at the same time...(yeah you gest it it was a Kebab) but me and Dave really enjoyed them.

So come Saturday it will be time to hit the road. We have bought a road map which shows where the camping sites are and has a detailed road atlas in it(the car came with camping gear) So as the journey continues the journals will keep coming (as long as we can fined a computer that is) so bye for now guys.
