Today was our bus trip out to the English Countryside. Our first stop was Windsor and Windsor Castle. Beautiful town set just outside London. It's set up on a hill, with the castle at the top overlooking both the town and countryside. Got to tour the Castle grounds and some of the interior. While not quite as luxurious as Buckingham Palace (but still not too shabby), the views from the hilltop are extraordinary. Driving further into the countryside, we visited Stonehenge. While the stones were quite impressive, the surrounding landscape was maybe more so. Just miles and miles of rolling green hills. It was then onto Bath. Visited the Roman Baths and walked through the city. Didn't have time to visit the Jane Austen Museum but you could obviously see the inspiration for some of her work.
All in all a great day, but another tiring one. Going to try and have a more relaxing day tomorrow;)
