Good evening!

Toured Kensington Palace and Kensington Gardens this morning (future home of Wills & Kate in case you didn't know;). Both the palace and the gardens were beautiful. Fun side note, found a family from Plattsburgh to take our picture outside the gates there. This afternoon we took the tube to St. Paul's Cathedral and Shakespeare's Globe. Got a good look around at both and walked along the Thames for a bit but it was very crowded. By late this afternoon we had had enough of the heat so we grabbed dinner to-go and went to cool down at the hotel. We haven't mentioned the weather much but it's been brutally hot the past few days and today was even worse. Apparently it's been an exceptionally hot summer here and they've had very little rain. The weather wouldn't be so bad if you got some relief while indoors, but very few places have air conditioning (even the ones that do, its not nearly as cool as the AC you'll find back home). Trying to cool off and turning in early. Goodnight!
