Hello!
Today was another busy day out and about. First, a tour of Buckingham Palace. Unlike anything we've ever seen. Every room just oozed wealth and "royalty". From the woven carpets and marble floors up to the crystal chandeliers and the gold ceilings. Definitely the highlight of the trip so far. We followed up the Palace tour with the Royal Mews and the Queens Gallery. The Mews were fun, we got to see some of the Bentleys, Stagecoaches and Horses up close. The Gallery, however, was a bit disappointing. The usual exhibits were closed to make room for a Special Exhibit of Da Vinci sketches (interesting but not what we had in mind). We then headed to Hyde Park this afternoon. It's Huge! We walked around for about 2 hours and probably only covered about 1/4 of the park. While it is a beautiful park, it was quite hot today (definitely the warmest it's been) so it made for a very tiring afternoon. Headed back to the hotel a bit earlier tonight as a result but we have to be up early tomorrow anyways... Bus trip to the countryside in the a.m.
Goodnight from London!

MOC According to my friend Royston, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens make up 635 acres. I suppose you could qualify that as "huge".
