After spending most of yesterday walking the city, we made our first venture on the Tube today. We found it really easy to use and it seems to be convenient to EVERYTHING. Started the day at Olympic Park. Access to the venues was a little restricted (they're setting up for the Paralympics) but it was still fun to see what we could of all the different venues. Toured the Tower of London, including the Crown Jewels this afternoon ( and no, we didn't sneak any out as souvenirs for anyone). We ended the day doing a River Cruise back down the Thames, which provided us some great photo ops.
