Glenda took me to visit her parents this morning. I also got to meet both of her sons, and her grandsons today - one was so thoughtful and shared a Christmas cracker with me, but he got to keep the crown, stickers, and joke. :)
After the visit with her parents, we planned on going to the Buddhist temple for lunch, but we found out that they're not open on Mondays... And then we found the local pie shop (aka similar to chicken pot pies) was closed for Christmas... So we went to the Seascape Cafe, which was really nice and had great views! I figured out that when chicken schnitzel is on the menu, it means breaded chicken - guess what kind of sandwich I got??
Once we finished munching on lunch, Glenda took me over to Hill 60, which is a beach rescue lookout - great area to snap photos of the beaches below!
We stopped at the Dapto Mall, and grabbed some goodies from Woolies (Woolworth's) like more liquid gold for my morning coffee! LOL!
For dinner, I BBQ'd some steaks and snags (sausages), which we had with veggies... And for dessert, Glenda made homemade Crepes Suzette!!
Seriously, I think I'm eating my way through Australia - and it's not even Christmas yet!!
