Recap of December 24-26:
Christmas Eve day was very relaxing. I caught up on downloading pictures, playing my iPad games, and watched some Aussie TV.
That night, Glenda and Gail's friend, Louise, hosted a very nice party in her apartment next to the beach. We ate so much food, I wanted to fall into a food coma! :)
Christmas morning came around, and Glenda made us croissants for breakfast! We even had lorikeets visit us while we ate! (Pictures of the birds ended up being the only photos I took over the holiday)
Gail and Peter had me over for Christmas lunch/dinner, and I got to meet the whole Bidner family! What a fun (and funny) bunch of people!
On Boxing Day, Glenda and I went to her parents' house for lunch with her cousins from Sydney, Sonny, Marie, and Keith. Then I transferred all of my luggage (I don't know how I have so much stuff!!) to Gail and Peter's.
Later that evening, the Bidners and I drove up the mountain to visit Peter's sister, brother and sister-in-law, Lynn, Jeff and Tanya. They have some wild birds, and some domesticated birds (a duck, chicken, galah - a pink and grey cockatoo) as well. The land across the way is for sale, and has a couple of beautiful horses running around.
It was a wonderful few days for the Christmas holiday!
