Hello again,
These blog updates are getting rather frequent so if im boring you all you can just ignore me.
So today we had a rather lazy get up for us, at about 7.30am. Gone are the days of my 11am lie-ins!
So we went to see some of the main wats in Chiang Mai, some of the wooden ones with gold are really pretty, not quite as garish at the every colour of glass under the sun all on one building like some of the ones in Bangkok.
We have done some serious shopping this afternoon. We went to Chiang Mai walking street which is a really big street that gets shut off to cars and covered in market stalls from 5pm to 11pm. I have bought lots of stuff, but also presents for some of you guys back home so you can't tell me off for being extravagant!
This is a good time to buy though cos we can leave it in bangkok till the flight home.
