Well we've crossed the border into Bolivia (Uncle Craig I have sent you a postcard from Argentina, country number 3!) from where we went to Potosi the highest city in the world (of its size). We did too much shopping, Jane talked me into a poncho (6 pounds tut tut), and everyone on the tour baring a couple of us tough uns was ill!! then we said goodbye to argentina and crossed (yes another long bus journey) to chile! our first two days we spent in Puerto Montt. apparently they dont have many hostels, so we ended up having two rooms in Nancy's house! a lovely little woman who was giving out business cards at the bus station. it was a bit random but we both got our own rooms with double beds so we didnt complain. after Bariloche, Puerto Montt was a bit of a let down - realistic thats for sure...

So, we have arrived in Peru! First stop Puno, which is very nice but it was only one night before our overnight stay on an island in Lake Titicaca (the Peruvian side). It was very tourist orientated but it was great fun. we left the tour and hit buenos aires, to those who recommended the mill house - good call! we had a great time. we got a really good dorm with two private bathrooms and 6 other lovely ppl, downside is we now compare every hostel to it and its great showers!!
