Hello! My first blog entry coming to you (live and exclusive?) from Delhi which is where the flight from London lovingly plonked me. Two days here and my pinkness is astounding me despite the factor 50 being liberally applied. You'll have to excuse the photo though, which, i'm sure you're aware, is off The Taj Mahal (don't worry Beth - I haven't been there Princess Diana stylee!)

Counting down the days (already) until Beth gets here. Off to Jaipur on the 9th before it gets too hot. Have seen Old and New Delhi in a day and a half. If you're on a sleazyjet minibreak you don't need any longer. Despite everybody's 'friendliness', if you're a westerner you'll do well to hang onto your rupees. Don't want to jump to conclusions here but that's my considered expert opinion! I guess us Londoners should expect it, all the fleecing of those tourists and it has to come and get you (My Name is Earl style) at some point.

Anyhow, off to meet Sara and Leigh (from Wales I think) who i met at the train station today, for a lemonade (or something!) and then I'll be off to Rajasthan (Jaipur) tomorrow and hopefull down to Goa and Kerala soon. Fingers crossed that the monsoon and heat aren't too bad by then.
