Yesterday we stayed in Brussels. We went to the Royal Palace and then to the Atomium and Mini Europe. The kids were well rested and this made for a good day. The Atomium is a giant replica of an atom. You can walk around inside and take a combination of stairs and escalators to the top and have a seven story view. We are in Brussels this morning but headed to a short over night in Amsterdam. We heard from Bobby. He was leaving Munich for Berlin and said he was having a great time. Everyone is much more rested today. I had a bit of trouble sleeping. I couldn't find the remote and the TV was turned to CNN and the coverage of Colorado did not make for a very peaceful nights sleep. More to add when we hit Amsterdam.

Went to Brugge today. Lovely city about an hours train ride from here. The city was wonderful. It has a canal system and beautiful gardens and some wonderful cathedrals. We woke up from a nap and went out to eat. Found a fun area with lots going on but most restaurants were Thai or Indian. We were afraid the kids wouldn't like it so we tried an Irish pub. Service and menu were horrible so we left and ended up at a Thai place. Lively atmosphere. Lots of loud music and people wondering around. A bachelorette was walking around with her entourage. Eating dinner at a random cafe. Things close a bit early in our area of Brussels. We had to walk past an area that was very crowded earlier but is shut up tight now to find a cafe area.
