Went to Brugge today. Lovely city about an hours train ride from here. The city was wonderful. It has a canal system and beautiful gardens and some wonderful cathedrals. We tried to go on a ride through the canal but it started raining so we settled on a nice lunch. We then went on the boat ride. The sun had come out and we were full and we realized the kids had not slept the entire night before. They were fading fast. We told them to go back to the train and catch the train back and we would meet them back at the hotel. We walked around for a while and the jogged back to catch the train. We ended up on the same train home with the boys. They had had their own adventures. They had missed the earlier train while trying to get enough change to pay to go to the bathroom. And then the woman attendant followed them into the restroom. They were appalled. Anyway, they slept the whole way back. Great day!
