The drive from barron desert through occasional seemingly trailer park villages to mountains with gradually increasing amounts of pine trees was fascinating.... After getting up 5AM(!!!) we were driven to bolder valley only to be told that the trip was cancelled to due to high winds! :-( Disappointed to we took ourselves off to the car rental place where we picked up our SUV (see photos!) We then drove out of Vegas to Death Valley. The scenery quickly changed from over the top sky scrapers to baron dessert. So last night we got dolled up and took ourselves off to the most exclusive restaurant in the Bellagio (as we decided we needed a treat after a hard day by the MGM Grand pool and lazy river!) called Sensi where and Amy and I both beautiful fillet steaks.
