made it to singapore and got to our hostel in little india. spend the day going to the zoo and then to the night safari next door which was just a nocturnal zoo really but was quite cool. went shopping and looked around the city went on a cable car and ben got some walkie talkies. ate lots of really good food and it was really cheap. then we got on a train off into malaysia.

took 11 hours to get up into the jungle, where we took a 3 hour boat ride into the heart of the jungle which was fun for the first ten minutes as we were sitting on the bottom of the boat and you could look through the gaps in the wood and see the water. found somewhere to stay in the little village and ate on some floating restaurants. the next day we went on a little walk to a tree top walkway which was realy scary and high and looked like something a bunch of kids had made, saw some big lizards and then went on a night safari 4wd into a palm oil plantation and saw some wild cows!!!!

then we went to the perhentian islands and had a horrible boat ride jumping over the waves and then crashing back down which really hurt but ben found it funny and nicky didnt. had a nice relaxing day getting burnt and then went on the internet as we were worried we were illegal immigrants in malaysia as we didnt go through customs when we got here only in singapore so didnt get our passports stamped. looked at the big fine and 5 years in prison and didnt really like the sound of that so have spent the whole of today trying to get to kuala lumpur which is the other side of malaysia but all the trains and busses are booked up so couldnt get there to go the british embasy and sort it out but luckily we managed to get to a town with immigration and learnt that a piece of card we were given to fill out is all we needed as they dnt bother with customs here!!!!

off to kuala lumpur tomorrow finally to have a look round and get ben some more tevas as they got nicked in the jungle probably by a monkey or chicken. then off to the cameron highlands to see some tea and then to thailand.
