well we didnt get arrested when we crossed the border so that was good, got a minibus which was really scary and thought we were going to die and made it to krabi which is in the south west of thailand. we then followed some travellers onto a boat and ended up in railey which we got really confused thinking we were on an island as we had to get a boat but we werent. the driver man made us get off the boat in the middle of the sea at waist depth which wasnt much fun as we had all our stuff with us but was quite funny really. found a nice room and then had dinner and chilled for the night. spent 3 nights in railey hanging out with our new friend dan, went to the beach and did some climbing but it was too hot and sweat just dripped everywhere. then we decided it would be a good idea to get a thai massage!!!

we left railey for koh tao a little island on the east coast so we had to get a boat, van, bus, van and a boat overnight to get there. dan followed us there which was nice as ben had someone to build sandcastles with. the overnight boat was interesting we were told it took 7 hours and we got a matress to sleep on, we were packed in like sardines in the hold area with all the food and supplies for the island. got to the island and it was nice and hot to ben and dan went to find somewhere to stay while nicky watched the bags, then we lazed on the beach for a bit and then got lunch and built sandcastles. watched the sun set which was cool and then had dinner sitting in the sea. stayed a couple more nights then had to leave for bangkok so we could get to chang mai. which was really hard as every thai wanted to go there as it was songkram (thai new year) where they have a massive water fight for 5 long days. we joined in a bit and then got annoyed as everywhere you went you got soaked. we did a thai cooking course which was fun and looked round some markets. then back to bangkok on the train.

got a sleeper which was good but everyone decided it would be really good to get up at 5 in the morning so the man came round putting the beds away.

got to bangkok early and did some sightseeing, round the palace and reclining buddah then went shopping in china town. as we walked back to the hostel a man tried to scam us saying the palace was closed today and he would take us to see something else and try and get us to buy gems, would have sought of been believable had we not already been to the palace earlier!!

next day we went and looked at bens suit that he was getting made by bo jimmy!! and did some more shopping. flew out the next day to sri lanka.
