We're loving Thailand. The food is amazing, apart from long life milk. The 4 of us visited The Grand Palace today. Getting in was ridiculous - there were queues for entry, admission, hiring clothing, exiting... plus it was the most commercialised place of religious significance that I have ever seen. We spent 7 quid each to join the crowds of tourists and the serious heat and... were disappointed. The Emerald Buddha didn't impress us too much, and we left soon...
