This morning we got up extra early because Hayden set the alarm and forgot to turn the clock back to UK time.
We got packed and headed to the train station where we proceeded to take the tube to the airport.
Got to the airport nice and early before realizing we didn't have correct flight details and that we were in the wrong terminal. A quick transfer via train to one of the other terminals took about 15 minutes and we lined up to get our tickets and go through customs.
We had lunch at a nice cafe inside and made our way to the gate.
The plane ride went quick and four hours later, we rocked up in Athens and caught the hotel transfer taxi to the Novus hotel.
We got there just in time to make the briefing meeting and meet some of our crew. We then headed to dinner and then decided to hit the town.
Gazi is the partying suburb in Athens and we went to a few good bars there before most of the guys went home. Hayden and I met Jamison who is a guy from Colorado, USA and is traveling with us on Topdeck and the three of us headed to Dream City which seems to be the big nightclub in town.
Bit disappointed that nobody here dances but we got our moves on and enjoyed the night anyway. Greece doesn't even have a dress code for their clubs!
We got kebabs and caught a taxi home at roughly 4am that morning.
