This morning was pretty emotional as we packed up the bus and had breakfast. A few of our friends are staying in Amsterdam instead of coming back to London, including Josh, Liam, Alex, Kelly, Yoonki and Aleisha. We waved out the windows as we left and it surprised me that they all got out of bed so early just to say goodbye and wave us off.
Feels like only yesterday we were eating snails in Paris together.
We made our way into Brugge after that where we spent a couple of hours eating waffles and chocolate, shopping and doing a bit of sight seeing.
Brugge was really beautiful! So old but not dirty like some of the other cities we visited.
We went for a bit of a walk, saw the clock tower in the city square and had a good look around.
We then got back on the bus and headed to Calais where we caught the ferry back across to the UK.
Our coach took roughly an hour and a half to two hours to get back to our hostel in London where we booked in and then went for dinner at a Japanese restaurant across the road with Scott and Mione from our trip. A few drinks followed at the bar while we waited for our washing and then time for a shower and bed. Athens in Greece tomorrow!
