I meet a couple more of Jode's friends on sunday and cooked a roast dinner for us all. On Monday I went for a walk with Sue and Em around Lake Hayes which is about 10 mins from QT and was gorgeous. I've arrived!! After my epic journey through many time zones and 3 different aircraft i finally arrived at Queenstown airport about midday on the 5/9/9! The airport was tiny - similar in size to staverton and I was in such a daze that I wandered straight out of the airport to sit and wait for Jode without collecting my bag off the luggage belt! ha good start hey!
