DAY 10

Today was such a funny day. on the agenda was the zoo and our medieval times dinner (will explain that later). we figured zoo open at 10 so if we left at 9 we'll be there in pleny time...boy were we wrong! we had to walk to subway catch one then swap to another then were told to go and catch the number 86 bus and that wld take us to the zoo. when we reached the bus station we waited a bit for the bus then when one came the driver told us iot no longer stopped at that bus stop and that we had to get to shephard street and catch another bus from there to the zoo. so we stood about the station for a while wondering wot we shld do then we found a tiny little schedule hiding on a wall that said the bus doesnt run on sundays which must of been wot that driver meant. so when another bus came we asked him and he let us on his bus and wld tell us when shephard was coming up to jump off. 30mnins later we hit shephard!!!! then 2secs later we hit the zoo! wot we thot wld be a half hour trip to the zoo took 2hrs!!!!

the zoo itself was pretty cool. we had to speed walk around it though cause we were on a time restriction we had to be at medieval times at 3! so we zoomed around all the different parts, the tundra, americas, eurasia etc. the animals were all actually in pretty big enclosures and the only one i felt sorry for was the elephant! even the polar bears looked really healthy not like the one in edinburgh zoo! so after 2 and a half hrs of walking round the zoo we figured we better head to our dinner. it took another 40mins on a bus, 2 subways and 1 streetcar to get us to the medieval times dinner. lets just say instead of being there on time at 3 (it didnt start till 4 but u had to be there an hr early) we got there with 10mins to spare!!

so let me explain medieval times for those of u who dont know wot it is! its basically a dinner and a show set in medieval times (funnily enough lol). u get served by "wenches", theres a king and a princess and the show is about the knights of the realm and one kingdom making peace with anoother but of course it doesnt go smoothly one knight was evil captures the prince and theres a dual at the end. the audience is split up innto different coloures sections corresponding to each knight and u have to cheer for ur knight in various sports, jousting etc. guess wot knight we had...the evil one lol and he was HOT!!!! our section was the loudest cheerers, no surprise we were pretty much all girls lol. we were givin a huge dinner which u had to eat with ur hands. thee was a massive leg of chicken, ribs, potaties and pastrys it was yummy!!! the whole experience was pure cheese but awesome!! i wld so go to another one. afterwards suze got her pic taken with all the knights. i just got mine with the king and the hot knight but for some reason my camera wont load up the hot knight picture so stay tuned for that!

it was a great way to spend my last day with suze!
