Day 6: This morning we met Alessandra, the cruise guide. She is a gorgeous Italian who was so helpful all thru our cruise making sure everything was ok and our tours were organized. The cruise terminal was chaotic but we got thru fairly quickly then we were on board. As usual the cruise is a bit cheesy love boat style. Day 5: Leaving Paris this morning was sad, but nice to know we'll be back. We were picked up be airport shuttle and taken to Charles de gualle airport for our flight to Athens. Such a huge airport. We had gate 64. Had cafe au lait and croissant for the last time. Bought iPhone charger so I could finally charge my phone. Posted some postcards at La Poste, 4 euro for 5 postcards. Day 4: Caught the rer train to chateau versaille. Took about half an hour and only cost €3.20 each, each way. Stopped at McCafe for coffee and croissants. Then walked up the street to the castle. It was so massive. I didn't really expect that and the front gates and rooftop were covered in opulent gold. Took about half an hour to queue up for entry. Day 3: Started out by catching les rouge bus to the opera district, which is now my favorite part of Paris. Its beautiful. We wandered thru gallery lafayette, a huge department store full of every imaginable brand label ... Chanel, gucci, Prada, Louis vuitton, Tiffany and heaps more. Bought a gorgeous bracelet at Lafayette, and then found clothes shop called H&M and bought 2 dresses, a top, ballet slippers and a belt for €99. was so much fun. The deli in...

Day 2: Our first mission was the Eiffel tower. So after breakfast we headed over there. The cue took about 1.5 hrs to get our ticket. Then we headed up in the lift to the second floor. I was speechless when I saw the view. The whole of paris ... So amazing. Took heaps of photos and just stood on awe for ages.
