Day 11: A bus tour to cinque terre - €85 each. Left at 7am from the train station, with our guide armedeaus, an egyptian guy who could fluently speak nine languages and was convinced that I would make a great tour guide escort. Day 10: Time to explore Florence. Caesar has given us a map and circled all the laces to visit. We walked out on the street and found a gorgeous boutique and that was it ... Time for shopping! Bought a beautiful pair of sandals from the boutique. Then wandered thru the markets and found a nice Italian handbag. Saw some churches along the way. Day 9: The flight to Italy was interested. We left the cruise boat at 7am and was met by Babis, our taxi driver at 8am, who took us on a tour of Athens. First stop was the acropolis, which was amazing. Completely made from marble, even the stairs were marble and very slippery. The Parthenon was at the same location. Day 8: Morning stop was in Crete. It's more of a city/island. Had a walk around and found a little market with a beautiful jewellery shop. Bought heaps of silver jewellery and some presents. Back on board by 11am then cruised to santorini. Had a tour bus to with Georgina. Oia was amazing, just like all the postcard pictures. But we only had an hour so it was a bit rushed. Day 7: Arrived this morning at kusadasi, turkey. Was a bit apprehensive about going to the bizarre but it was so cute. So man Turkish men calling out to get you to come into their shop.
