Finally on our way to Puerto Montt and the Navimag ferry! We had a bit of a scare that we wouldn´t make it in time to Pto Montt; ie. I didn`t book a bus when I should have so there were no seats left ON ANY BUS!! from Pucon to Pto Montt, but all is well. We are in Valdivia tonight which is a large university town on the coast and will get a bus early in the morning to Pto Montt.

We walked around town most of the afternoon and it is quite pretty (sorry we didn´t take a camera). On the river bank in the centre of town there is a large fish market and heaps of seals hang out in the river waiting for off-casts from the vendors.

We sat and watched them for awhile but the smell from the market was pretty gross.
