Hey Folks! On our first full day in Brisbane we headed over to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary which was about a 40 min bus ride out of town. We saw lots and lots of koalas which were all asleep - very cute but not really doing much at all! Hello everyone! First of all we should let you know that we are now only 10hours (rather than 11hours) ahead of England as we have arrived in Queensland which has a silly time difference from New South Wales. Got to Surfers on Sunday, and were greeted by a load of sky scrapers which is a big difference from Byron Bay. Surfers is very built up and touristy but not neccessarily in a good way.
