(From Barbara: ) We drove over to Port Orleans – Riverside (where the kids stayed the whole time and we had stayed for four days before moving to the campgrounds) and picked up Jared and Shannon’s luggage. They went on to the parks and we moved their luggage to our RV. They spent the night with us.

Then back to Port Orleans to pick up Brian and Rietta and drive them to the car rental. They drove to her grandpa’s house in Fort Walton Beach, FL, to meet up with her brother and family who flew in from Australia. They stayed there until flying out the following Thursday.

We drove the ECVs down to the Settlement to take the boat over to the Magic Kingdom to meet up with Jared and Shannon. But as we got there it started raining. We decided it wasn’t worth it. Most of the day was gone, J&S said it was really crowded, and it started pouring. So we opted to drive the ECVs in the pouring rain back to the campground. Boy, what a ride that was! Totally fun. There was supposed to be a light parade at the boat dock later that night, so we drove the ECVs down but were too late. We met J&S there and came back to the RV. They settled in over the cab and I only heard one yip all night from Shannon when a monster moth attacked them. Ah, camping!
