G'day all

So the adventure is continuing up the gold and sunshine coast of Oz. We're back in the campervan, but now theres a little less room because of Brian's new surfboard. So it's now time for lazy days by the beach (for me anyway) while Brian is getting better each day surfing. We've seen our first python snake on the road we were travelling on. We stayed at a lovely wee hippy town called Byron Bay, where we went to the hippy market, listened to live bands on the beach at night and did a few yoga classes. From there we headed to a tropical mountain retreat, to cool down, it is just too hot sometimes by the coast. We spent 3 romantic days camping in the mountains, seen lots of waterfalls, swung on the tarzan branchesand done lots of treking. Then onto Brisbane where we stayed with a friend and checked out the city on the riverboat. We checked out the Steve Irwin Australian zoo and by crickey it was a ripper! crocs, snakes, kangaroos......koalas - great fun running round like little kids.

Now we are in a gorgeous oz 'chic' holiday town where the aussie jet set can be apparantley spotted ...but we only know jason and kylie and maybe crocodile dundee is hes still going? ... we hate telling you this but the weather is pretty bad at the moment - lots of sudden heavy rain in 28 degree heat aaagh!!

anyway the suns just come out again so its back to the beach...
