Another ripper sunrise this morning. Started the morning with jaffles on the open fire. Pop's with spaghetti, Jack with bacon & eggs, Baz with leftover. We planned to do a big walk around the lake, however once again got chatting to fellow campers so settled with a medium walk introducing ourselves to every dog in the camp ground. No internet or phone reception however a couple of blokes were setup pretty well for the week, right on the lake with their 2 dogs, satellite dish watching the opening ceremony of the Olympics.

We then headed further north, planning to have lunch at the iconic Daly Waters hotel. Thought that we had travelled back in time to the 80's. Business cards, name badges, different currencies, shorts, thongs, jocks, bra's stapled to every inch of wall was interesting viewing. The Hawks v Demons game was not!

We were originally planning to head to Mataranka after lunch however after a couple of schooners of draught we decided to stay the afternoon and night.
