Not much to mention here.
After cleaning up in the morning we grabbed our bags and walked to where our shuttle was picking us up near times square. It was pouring with rain again which is ironic, rained when we it here and when we left, much be sad we are leaving! The drive to the airport was longer than expected and I was glad we chose a shuttle over a train or bus, we reflected on out time at camp with Tom and amber who managed to get on the same flight! Crazy!
We hopped on the plane and headed to London! Got there the next day! Crazy because we stayed awake for ages!
I got to see my uncle bob who I haven't seen in ages. He picked us up from the airport and we went back to his house, get this, his house doesn't even have a number, it has a name. Kingsdene.
It's such a beautiful place, three stories, huge garden and it's one hundred years old this year!
At home I saw my auntie Jill,
Which was equally exciting because I having seen her for ages either.
We dumped our bags and I skyped my parents for a bit, which was a little overdue, I hadn't spoken to them in a while! Then after some breakfast, we had a quick nap in a proper bed. It was amazing, you do not appreciate how amazing a warm comfy bed is until u have been on the road/ at a camp!
We had an amazing long hot shower,( another luxury) organized some stuff for our trip with topdeck the next day, packed and by this time it was dinner.
Yum! Home cooked fish pie - it was the best food I had for a very long time! Although by the end of it I could hardly keep my eyes open so we went back to bed.
One of the best, most amazing days. Some things you guys have been having for the last couple of months such as a super long hot shower, food when you want it - plus it being home cooked and delicious, and a normal comfy bed are amazing luxuries after camp!
