So tonights guest writer is me, Louise.
We arrived in Penang today which is a little island off Malaysia. The temperature is 33c in the shade . Staying in a deluxe place just off the beach, we have upgraded to air con and a private ensuite. Can't tell you how excited we are to have our own toilet as we are still in need of mastering these "alternative" ones. I digress. So we started as we mean to continue, lying on the beach with the wind in our hair and the sand in our teeth (don't ask).
Went for a wander down the main street tonight. Whilst on our journey we saw a huge ship and to our delight they served the best steaks in town and no rice, bonus! So we sit down to eat (just for a change) and a guy overheard our accents. I know its hard to believe but apparently we have a slight Northern twang. So we got talking to an ex Liverpudlian/cockney/manc/australian called Alan who could help me in my quest for answers as whilst in Malaysia we have become aware of the trend of wearing your jacket backwards on a motorbike. I have been reassured by Heather on many occasions this is to the do with the wind force experienced whilst riding a motorbike but needed some other clarification as Heather is not a Biker herself. Al satisfied this need for final closure. Turns out Heather was right.
So...we shake off Al and head back to the guesthouse and into a internet cafe, which is where this story has to end...
Goodnight, its been a pleasure
