Anne Hey slackers!! Where's the rest of your blog?? I know that arriving at our place was the pinnacle of your trip ;) but what about the homeward leg? I guess the coldness of the snow and Victorian weather is long forgotten in the WA sunshine. Lucky you, 12 deg here today...madness!! Emily is at school camp in Ballarat and it only got to 9 deg! Miss you heaps xxx

Anne Wow...and no snow chains (on your wheels). Didn't you have to have them to go up? In Vic you have to carry them at all times going into snow regions or else you get fined. (Maybe it's just plot to get more money off you!) Did you slide on the roads? Looks pretty thick. Awesome - so glad it snowed for you :) Looks like you're having so much fun!!

Anne So excited!! You're getting closer!! Wow, you've seen so much - what a great trip you are having. Good on you for following your dream :) Hopefully by the time you get here there will be some days of nice weather and the blossoms will be starting to come out, which is really pretty in Melbourne. We live near a river and dogs are allowed off their leash there so I'm sure you'll have lots of fun. When you come to stay with us you'll discover the park up the road too, which is really popular with dogs taking their owners for a walk. There's lots of dogs in our street, but it's nice and quiet most of the time. We've got some squeaky toys waiting for you for when you arrive - for those days that you might need to stay home while mum and dad do the touristy stuff :) Can't wait to see you. Hopefully Kipper will be in a good mood!! Watch out for Shadow though, he's sneaky ;D

Spike & Jess Glad all is well. We are soooooo jealous that you get to see and eat snow. Is it as good as they "woof about"? Our Mum grew up in the winter snows and really misses cold winters but she's only human and a bit daft. Of course we luv her just the same. Anne Hi guys. Hope the weather is being kind to you. Love your blog and the photos. Hopefully Victoria's weather will be kind to you by the time you get down here. We had our court hearing today regarding our 'special friend' and settled with a 12 month court Undertaking. We think this is the best outcome for now as he was just going to keep contesting and threatened the Magistrate that he would go to the County court and the media- what a nut case :) Anyway, he's moved out of the area now and we are pretty confident that he knows we mean business - so it's safe for you to come down to Victoria now ;D The only nut cases you'll have to put up with are the ones here in your own family :) Laughed at your photos! What great memories you are creating. Can't believe time has flown so quickly - enjoy and make the most of every moment (I know you will!!). Love you lots xxx

L'il Jess Hey Bandit good to hear from you. From the picture, I suspect you did "play" in the mud puddle when mum & dad had their back turned? LOL - not the rain here but very chilly in the mornings. We are having Christmas in July tonight so Spike & I are expecting to be spoilt rotten with the guests and we will think of you when we get the turkey leftovers from Mum! Anne Great to hear of your travels! Sounds like you've had a few challenges along the way, but enjoying the experience anyway :) We survived the snow....arrived home today. Had a great time and saw some amazing sights too. It did get cold though - the water hose to the caravan froze solid during the night!! But we kept warm with heaters and hot water bottles. Looking foward to seeing you when you get down this way. Kipper and Shadow will enjoy your company - and Shadow loves toys too ;D

Anne Hi Kay & Jamie! The little green dot on the map shows me that you are in Queensland somewhere, right? Wow, that's a big drive. Hope you are having a great time. I guess the parts arrived and everything is ok. Loving reading your blog....although sometimes it makes me worry a bit....hiking alone, canoing with crocs, what next!! Haha. All is good here. Meeting up with Pete and Christie today as they've come over for the Eagles/Collingwood game :) Looking forward to school holidays - taking the camper van to the snow, brrrr! grey nomads Hi nomads well bandit i hope you have learnt not to run away again you never know you might land up as croc dinner, i dont think bess is missing you as it is quite round here with out you but i think fur ball ralph is missing you he has no one to frighien to death since you have been on your trip. weather here is rain coil and more rain we had chloe to day but she is not at tall well nasty couugh had to have her home dead on 3 30 as her mum had to go out the old grey nomads are keeping fine just cold, but mum and dad AND you seem to be having a ball all that nice hot weather will catch up soon take care and mind the crocs mum dad and nan and pop xxx
