I was sad to leave Moonee Beach. We headed further south and mum and dad had to make the decision to either go to Sydney or go around Sydney. They chickened out and decided to go around Sydney. So we headed to Canberra instead. Time is going fast and mum and dad are really keen to get into the snow and get to Melbourne to see family and friends. We drove into the ACT and then out again to a place called Queanbeyan. There is a railway line right on the town border and one side is Canberra and the other is NSW! Mum and dad found this hilarious but it all looked the same to me. So technically we were still in NSW but also in the ACT. Mum and dad put me in a kennel again so they could got and look at the war memorial the museum and Parliament house x 2. Clearly the old parliament house wasn't big enough so they built a new one behind the old one! For dad Canberra was surprisingly nice. He wouldn't have gone there if it wasn't for mum but he was glad he did. The lookout tower on Black Mountain was fantastic and gave a really great view over Canberra and the layout of the city. The weather is freezing and I have to wear my coat when I go for a walk in the morning. The grass was completely frozen and it hurt my feet to walk on. It was almost cold enough to make my pee freeze.

Spike & Jess Glad all is well. We are soooooo jealous that you get to see and eat snow. Is it as good as they "woof about"? Our Mum grew up in the winter snows and really misses cold winters but she's only human and a bit daft. Of course we luv her just the same. Enjoy and don't eat the "yellow kind" xoxo Spike & L'il Jess
