Today was a real holiday day. We got up and walked to the town where we grabbed a coffee and explored the local weekend market. We then met up with the others back at the hotel and walked back into town to do some shopping. I bought two new pairs of bathers on special and some new thongs as mine have worn through. We grabbed some lunch at the market and strolled back to the hotel where we grabbed our cars and drove out to Gantheaume Point where there had been 130 million year old dinosaur footprints found. We saw a humpback whale playing in the water waving around its dorsal fin which was pretty cool. We drove down onto the sand and went for a swim in the beautiful warm ocean. Next we drove back to the hotel where we jumped in the pool and lazed around reading. Later in the afternoon we headed in to the local pub to watch some footy, where we met up with Ross and Emma and kids who had arrived from Derby today. We headed to dinner where we ate some delicious pork belly and pizza, and Matt and Hiromi shared this amazing whole fish, a threadfin salmon which is a white fish salmon and very delicious. After dinner we strolled back to the hotel and crashed.
