We aimed to be here, at Oradour-Sur-Glane, by early afternoon so that we could have a good look around. Unfortunately we had a few navigational problems and didn't arrive until 5.
The morning was wet, again. It cleared up in the afternoon and we were able to sport Lycra. However, the headwind kept up. It was about 15 or 20 knots, which was a lot less severe than yesterday. (Whenever we get lost we just cycle into the wind and are normally back on trail.)
Neither of us has fallen off yet. But if we do, I've promised Martyn Jones that I would take close-up photos of any injuries.
I hope John Harris is getting better after his major surgery.
The plan is to look around Oradour in the morning and then head off in the direction of the Dordogne around noon. This is where the real hills start!

Jill Harris Following your expedition with interest Steve - sounds like pretty hard work up to now with the motorway incident the funniest so far! John is progressing pretty well thanks - looking forward to having a beer when you get back.
Martyn Jones Tidy. So far you have you seemed to have travelled quite a distance without any major incident. You have never managed that before. I think your sat on your ass in Green Towers supping on London Pride and concocting tales of saddle sores and savlon. If you have not been involved in an international incident before completing your trip I will refuse to believe you have been past Bath. And dont forget the photos. Tidy. Jones
Mr Jangut I can't believe how you manage to find your way around the Hash! When you return, if you can find the way back, I suggest you enrol on a map and compass reading course. And don't blame Jackie 'cos the navigation is a mans job.
