Slept in late and had a lazy day today,
starting with a delicious brunch of scrambled eggs and roasted capsicum sitting outside by the river.
Mid afternoon we picked up a couple of things in the supermarket and filled fuel in preparation for leaving Wentworth tomorrow.
Came back to our caravan and Gadi began packing up stuff outside (awning, tarp, chairs, tables) to make things easier in the morning.
Then he took Cadbury out for a last kayak in this magical place.
Meanwhile I snapped lots of photos and cooked satay coconut chicken with veggies in the weber. Only headed inside as it got too cool outside.
I know that we will both miss this lovely spot on the Darling River. While neither of us loves staying in caravan parks, preferring to find a quiet piece of paradise by a stretch of water or in the bush, but this is a special place and we have enjoyed unwinding and relaxing here for the past week and a half. It's been a good way to chill out and mentally prepare for heading back home to the city after nearly six months of living on the road.
On that note, night night xx
