Next stop Sukothai. We decided to go here as it is one of our favourite restaurants in Leeds. We got the government bus from bangkok which was an experience. The bus staff did not speak english but they were very nice. We even got water and some kind of sugary roll which was nice.
A dutch couple were behind us, they had the cutest little blonde daughter (all the thais thought they could touch her hair which she did not like at all!). Anyway this couple noticed the driver was falling asleep!!!! OMG not good, the stuard thought it was funny and said she would keep him awake! We thought it was scary as we could see his head bobbing! Luckily for us we got there in one piece.
Our guest house was really nice and it had a pool.
We visited Sukothai historical part which was fun. We went round the park on bikes. It was so funny we would rush to each site to get there before all the massive groups of tourist! This got a bit tiring after a while so we sat and talked to a woman who lives in South Africa for an hour. Jon also got bored of seeing so many buddahs! I told him he shouldnt really say it too loud as they are very sacred to the Thais.
