Awake at 605. Was awoken a couple of times (loud outside - 'My Dad is a millionaire!') but a good nights sleep and feel much better and refreshed. Drop my phone off the end of the bed, nearly knocking Nikky out!

Out at 0830 and walked down the Esplanade - tide in - taking pictures of wildlife. There are volleyball courts, open to all! Buy some essentials (suncream, toothpaste) and visit the main office to confirm my Greyhound ticket, and get a fresh sandwich. No real excitement. One embarrassing moment of note, in a shop. I was unable to work out what coinage was what! Back at hostel at 1300 to plan next few days.

Frustration, as after a little bit of planning I fall asleep and don't wake up until 1600. What a waste! After booking a trip for tomorrow I went to the Lagoon, a free place to swim, for half an hour. Unfortunately the sun had pretty much gone, so it wasn't that hot. Still very enjoyable though, splashing around in the open air. Then some more vague planning and a trip to the Rhino Bar for my free meal courtesy of the hostel. Spag Bol - passable, but free. Highlights of the Magners League on a big screen in a place too rowdy for my tastes. Getting old? Never! lovely temperature and sit out writing my diary.
