Switched from one bunk to another (both top) at 2am, as I was directly under the airconditioning and therefore freezing! Good sleep. Awake at 0600. Overnight had been Bath v Leicester. Anticipation. Shower then duck out and check phone for result, 20-20 - a draw! Greyhound Bus to Maroochydore, an unplanned stop, but a necessary one to meet David Dungey, a fellow Who foum patriot. Probably should a bit nervous about metting a random person from the net but I wasn't. And it was fine, 3 pints for me (he's stopped drinking, sensible). and discuss all sorts and plenty of Who of course! Then fish and chops and his regular haunt - some flake (shark) which was quite gentle, but very nice, and Red Emperor, a much stronger flavour and fabulous He dropped me back at the hoste. A successful visit and a proper friendship.
The hostel, a lovely little place, puts me in mind both in set-up and atmosphere of The Nut Hatch.
