Muskat, Oman

re: photo from 20 June 2012Rendi It seems people are conmig to their senses and recognizing that things are falling apart. Oil was up over $7.00 per barrel in just one day recently. Violent protests are forming all around. Food costs are going crazy. Good employment opportunities are almost impossible to find. How much time before we're overwhelmed?
re: MiriSara This sheet is great very soft, comfortable and fits the baby bjorn matestrs perfectly. Our baby seems to enjoy her sleep while traveling. Only wish it was less pricey!
re: Kuala LumpurEva Hahahahaha! You are adorable! :) What about a treavl trailer and thousands of miles of open road in the continental U. S.? Nothing brings a family closer together than cramming them all in a vehicle and driving for days. We go on these epic road trips filled with adventure, as you can imagine with all these children. Usually between 3500 and 4500 miles later, after all the dust settles and we have a couple of weeks of recovery time, we are ready to go again. Planning another one for this summer, as we speak.

re: Cameron HighlandLahhoud I am finding more aorhuts to read and more books on the TBR list. I always say that if I could ONLY take one series of books, it would be your bachelor series starting with Something About Emmaline, because to me, that is where the series more or less starts. As for this summer, I have read Julia Quinn's book and Lorraine Heath's books. I love the way she writes. She, like you and Laura Lee Guhrke, make you feel for the characters. I LOVE when the characters feel like real people to me even if they are fiction.I went to Cape May, NJ for my summer vacation this year. My big vacation with my buds is to Key West, FL I'm doing that in October and it looks like it will be a wonderful time there. The pics of the area are truly droolable.I would recommend to those who haven't read Lorraine Heath to read her books. She has a new series out right now the St. James series, which have the characters based loosely on Oliver Twist. A definite read, while we wait for your next series to come out.
re: Panganderan (green canyon and green valley)Khushal I personally also use EF College Break when tilaevrng abroad. (That's if I'm not backpacking).. My experiences have been absolutely amazing, and the age group is only from 18-26 which means there won't be any older creepy people on the tours, haha.. They also guarantee to be the cheapest touring company!.. And the code Tech2009 now will save you money on tours with them..Feel free to email at anytime!
re: PinacclesAmadou I totally rmomceend wearing a mask that they offer sick people at the doctor's office on all flights. I take a few extra when they are available and put it on once I am seated in my seat. I also bring some detox or immune system tea with me and drink it at drink service when hot water is offered. Eeeew! Re circulated air and gross unhealthy people! It also works well if the person next to you has way too much perfume on or smells bad!
re: Jakarta, BogorRob My shrink is tauhgt me about the different cognitive distortions (is it the right name?) during therapy. The goal, according to my shrink, is to be able to identify the “illogical and involuntary” thoughts in order to fight them with “logic”. It makes sense, but I can’t frankly say that I’m mastering that skill. In my case, I have an issue with holidays. My depression hits harder during the holidays because while everyone is happy and celebrating, I have to pretend to be as cheerful as them when in reality I’m not doing so great. I still don’t know how to accomplish such a daunting task. “I’d never been a huge fan of traveling anyway: delayed flights, uncomfortable hotel beds, American Express Travelers Checks, the depression that sets in when you get home and have to back to work.”If you feel that way, and depression is associated with loss, you sort of enjoyed some aspects of the trip. If you miss the place you visited, is because there was something about the place or the experience that you enjoyed. Maybe you could focus on those positive aspects and try to enjoy it while you are at it.
