Today would be our last 'whole day' in Brisbane as we will be departing for Cairns tomorrow at 2pm. So we agreed to go for the famously Steve Irwin 'Australia Zoo'. We got there by train from Central to Beerwah, then get free shuttle bus from there to the zoo. I was surprised that the free shuttle bus is actually a huge brand new coach with luxury factilies inside! Bless the driver, even he knew that we was deaf and it was only us on the bus, but he kept talking on the microphone guiding us about the Beerwah etc! Finally we arrived and it was 11am, so we made most of it around the Zoo. I was amazed that the Zoo managed to live up Steve's name and his standard! It was him everywhere and his family. Kirsty joined us for the day. we met various animals, particular Australian! There also over 40 different crocodile. We also saw two beautiful Indian Tiger which can be mixed with people, we could stroke them as if they were a dog! But it was very expensive to enter their enclosure so we decided not to go for it. The Zoo have little shuttle train around it so we can hop on and off so it was easy to get around the park. Me, Charlene, Sara and Kirsty head back Brisbane by her car while those two used train. We was very hungry when we arrived, so we went for easier option rather than walking around, browsing for restaurant, three of us went for Subway and others went for Hungry Jack (Australia version of Burger King). Then it time to say goodbye Kirsty as we will not see her for long time from now and on. We head back our hostel to pack our stuff ready for tomorrow where we will move on to Cairns! :)
