We left lay-by for Picton, it was only 20 minutes drive there. As seeing that we are at Marlborough district, I am not surprised to see hundreds of vineyard next to both side of road, it impossible to miss them! We even saw the famously Stoneleigh vineyard. Anyway, we went to centre of town. It was so cute, it just basically one street filled with old fashioned building, most of them are unique and locally business rather than chain (primark etc). At the end of the road there was a port with beach, along the coast just few minutes away, we can see the ferry port. We then made start to the ferry as we had to check in an hour before. It was smooth and we waited on the queuing line along with other motorhomes. We came in the ferry and parked, I turned off the LPG switch as it wasn't ideal to leave it on while at ferry. Anyway, we went up to the lounge area to sit and chill, waiting for the ferry to arrive Wellington. It was 3 and half hours away. I took plenty of pictures of the beautiful landscape. We also managed to spot the oldest light house in New Zealand and Australia. We arrived and went for the campsite that Sara mention, it was very cheap as it only cost us $50 per night. It was very unusual campsite, there is no trees around, just parking space area only for camper-van along with other cars next to our area. It has toilet and shower etc, we need pin to access it. It was very clean and is right in the city! We went to the city to have something to eat, obviously we couldn't resist after saw Hogs Breath restaurant. We then walked around the city in the night time. We returned to our motorhomes and head for our bed!
