Tues 29th arrived there in the evening and just went for a few drinks and met a few old faces.

weds 30th- met up with hannah, jo and milly from hervey, went down to the lagoon for a quick sunbath and paddle. callum joined later and in the eve went for the usual beers in the one of many watering holes (acc to my driver the total number is 34!)

thurs 31st- sorted out my trip across to darwin and then did the usual of sunbathing at the lagoon, read my book and just relaxed- as u might have guessed there isnt too much to do during the day here! went for a swift pint with lee, and then the same with lawrence later that night. meant up with our roomies remko (dutch) and jes (canadian) and that quickly took a turn for the worst and the numerous clubs were hit and we (well me n jes) ended up in the lagoon, but we did stumble across lawrence with a lady friend! back to the room and we stayed up till 6 chattin and drinking!

fri 1st- a well deserved lie in after last nite's exploits! but again a lazy day by the lagoon and sortin s*** out. we bought a few boxes of goon and the drinkin games started, and by the end of them we had 20 ppl in our room getting lashed. we all headed out to beaches, mama africas and moroccos, before stayin in paddys for a bit. the roomies went home and i caught up with hannah, jo and nicky (who had just won the wet tshirt contest in moroccos). went back to mama's and about 4ish went home.

sat 2nd- not much today, checked out and went to the meeting for the boat trip. jumped on the pride of airlie blue (party boat) at 3ish and set sail for South Molle Island resort to check in and relax before the evening games. the group of ppl look ok and the resort was wicked. the weather was something to be desired but you cant have everything. arrived about 5ish and that gave us 2 hrs to play in the hot tub and pool before the steak tea and drinking games. drinking and partying carried on till the small hrs!

sun 3rd- woken up by tracey banging cups, but the cooked brekkie made up for it! onto the boat and the creation of the Goon Platoon occured, a crazy bunch of (firstly 6 ppl and then more) goon drinking crazy ppl. the weather was s*** so we had the deck to ourselved and promptly drank, sprayed or 'gowered' each other in goon and went sliding along the deck. stopped off at whitehaven beach for snorkelling and relaxing. the beach was so beautiful and white- and managed to clean my jewellery- but cos of the weather it wasnt the best. the snorkellin was fun, saw lots of coral, sea grass, sharks and fish so that was worth it. ate lunch on the boat and later in the afternoon we stopped for some diving into the ocean- inc backflips, and bellyflopping both equally fun! back to the resort for golf and tennis, and then evening meal. followed by more games and drinking. the goon platoon key 4 (me, ed, will and nick) went streaking thru the resort, naked swimming and woke our guides up not once but twice- tracy and sohie werent impressed! back to the bar for more drinking and nakedness and to bed!

mon 4th-hard to wake up, was fearing the photos but i think they are gonna be saved for facebook- :-s!!! brekkie helped and the goon drinking wasnt as extreme as yesterday but still fun. most ppl were below deck sleeping, but we stopped off at hook island for more snorkellin and relaxing- the coral was better here if i remember correctly but the days kinda blended into one! sailed back towards airlie and the sun came out so everyone was on deck, chatting, drinkin and relaxing, oh with the added bonus of riddles too! when we got back to mainland there were 6 bladders left, so the goon platoon promptly took these for the evenings fun!

checked in, showered, swam and did some quick drinking befor the cheap meal at moroccos, back to the room for more sly drinking before the free beers at 9. by this time we were fairly drunk, and we were joined by the guys from noosa (tj, tommy and callum- who also knew will n ed from our trip) so we all got more drunk. me, tj and tommy went pole dancing and then we decided to move on before we made too much a fool of ourselves. a bit of bar crawling and a pie before we stumbled across a band playin some funky music- so we stayed there till 2ish and alice, rosie and sophia had to get there bus. back to mama africas, across to paddy's and then ally (from noosa n rainbow beach), tj and I went into the lagoon for some drunken swimming. got kicked out cos i jumped in and then went back to the hostel pool for a bit- met crazy irish mark from our boat, some vodka drinking and then bed.
