Hi Greg
Just spent the whole of my lunch break reading your blogs-was a bit behind so had a lot to read. Sounds as though you're still having a whale of a time and of course getting drunk.
Guess what me and UP did -yes we did-CAMPING, and we loved it but we were a bit cold at night your dad made up for it though with a nice cooked breakfast. That was the first and last time this year though cos its getting dark now and it is a bit damp in the mornings so the ground sheets were sopping. I have become sad now like your Dad cos we have been getting all the gear in neat little baskets all ready for next year and been going to camping shops at every opportunity - what has it come to. The week before we were in a top hotel using all the facilities and having tabled'hote dinner and then the next weekend in a tent eating beans!!!! We are so versatile you know.
Keep on enjoying yourself and take care.

Hi
Just back from Oslo had a great time weather was a bit iffy at first but improved. The hotel was gorgeous we had a fantastic room more like a suite really great views.bet it was better than your hostel our breakfast was served in the atrium get us. Visited all the tourist attractions and was so impressed with the sculpture park it was just amazing as you know. Went up the Radisson if it was good enough for you thought we'd have a go. How did you both have the guts looking like time travellers to go in such a posh place admire your confidence. Had a coffee in great big comfy lounge chairs overlooking the harbour what a life Uncle Peter decided he's done enough work in his life and is about time for more of this. Nannas and grandads enjoyed themselves too all in all a swell time had by all. Off to Lake garda on Friday really looking forward to that and then thats it for a bit how depressing, just have to keep looking at the photos.Take care lots of love mum xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Me again
Finishing work tonight for a week so thought I'd write.
Just read your blog seems youre still finding loads of things to do, not long now before New Zealand either - that should be brill. Remember we have Chris you can contact, he has just been over here so we got his phone number - we will e-mail it to you, but don't feel as though you have to see him, he will make you very welcome though.
Off to Oslo as you know - will have to ask Rick where that pizza place you went to is, (think that might be a none starter though) and have told Uncle Peter he can't afford the drink over there so he'll have to stay sober. Have many tales to tell you as your Uncle is going through his teenage years at the moment - its so funny and I think your dad and him are going to see 'Transformers' together.
Bye for now better get on with some work

Hi there
Just read your mums message
YOU MADE ME COOK !! but it was worth it to see your happy smiling face on the piccys and the DVD rafting, why was it only you who had to risk standing up on the raft, we would have been disgusted if it would have been one of the others but cos it was you we all said 'you might know it would be Greg'.
Nanna hasn't committed hari kari I think the sun in Palma has cheered her up a bit, we had a fantastic time, the weather was just what the doctor ordered. I had to drag nanna away from a group of americans that had congregated around her while she was filling them in on the Beckhams and the Royal family and the floods back home - she was like a British tour promoter.
Lewis is getting taller by the minute, Richard is pig sick cos he is smaller than him now - he wants to know what growbag he has been using.
Anyway I think I'd better get back to work before I get told off.
Lovely to see you on the DVD and pictures.
Lots of hugs xxxxx

hi was getting a bit worried when hadn't heard from you for a bit had visions of you being eaten by a croc or living with the dingos. anyway you are obviuosly safe and sound and having a brill time. Like the bit about kids getting every where you were one of the noisiest and annoying and obviously haven't changed much by the bombing the old bloke in the pool. well it's still raining here you picked a good year to go you cannot believe how bad the weather has been, counting the days down to our next hols. All went round to Auntie Yvettes to watch your Rafting dvd absolutely fantastic it would be you stood up in the raft waving your oar but it was great to see you and we kept re-playing it nanna wants to do that now.Pics were great looking forward to the next instalment. Auntie Yvette said to tell you she had to make tea for us all because of you the dvd wouldn't play on our player so it was all round to hers and a free meal thrown in,very nice.Nanna and grandad Ashton due back today. Auntie Yvette and nanna S. are off to Palma for a few days on Wed get a bit of sun before Nanna commits hari kari. I'll sign off now take care lots and lots of love xxxxxx

Hi Nephew
Glad you are still having fun but sick of hearing about all YOUR fantastic exploits so you will have to hear about OURS now.
Went on Holiday paid for 4 rounds of golf (for you now who)- now BROKE & had no money to do anything else. Is that fantastic or what. Oh and he ordered the biggest TBone steak that was the size of the cow, he left us the tail and the hoofs to eat cos he felt sorry for us. Anyway joking apart we had the most fantastic holiday with none stop sunshine (unlike home that was flooded in most parts and still hasn't stopped since we came home)naffed off now want go back on hols cos unlike yours ours only lasted a week.
I believe you have sent photos home but we haven't seen them yet so really looking forward to seeing them - are you sober on any of them!!!
Look after yourself
Missing you AY and UP xxxx
