We wanted to try out the beach as we not yet sat down and relax in front of the sun. So we made our way to Burj Arab using the metro, the public beach is right next to it. I just lie down and relaxed, enjoying the sun, and of course swam in the Arabic sea. All of that with view of Burj Arab is splendid way to end Dubai :) we headed back to the hotel to have shower, also to collect the clean clothes that I washed the night before. Then it's time to leave Dubai city for the airport. I am quite sad to leave Dubai but also felt I could finally breath, as Arabic law is VERY strict, if I break the law slightly I could go straight to prison. I am amazed how people respects the Arab people (those who wear white robe and white hat thingy). Now the rich city is over, I am very excited and wonder what Sri Lanka is all about. I am also looking forward to see what my sister, Sara have experienced in the last 8 weeks. Goodbye Dubai!

laura Dubai, definitely is one of the most beautiful destination I have ever been. Having said that, I love USA and I think that there are more beautiful places to visit in USA than anywhere else in the world. For example, USA national parks are truly incredible and cities are just beautiful. If you are USA travel fan, please take a look at Tour America website and the Blog, for some great holiday deals, travel advice and tips.
jenny I am planning to travel to Dubai in June this year very excited about so Laura if you have any tips or secret hidden gem you unearthed please let me know. As you mentioned Tour America there I booked my trip to Orlando with them last year and they were brilliant really helpful staff and had an amazing holiday for a great price ! worth checking them out if your planning a trip to the states - they really know there stuff !
Lucy I have nt been to Dubai yet but its on my to do list, I have been to Orlando but did nt book with Tour America as did not know about them but did check out their cruise website cruiseholidays and they have some great cruise offers, I think that one of them will be my next holiday :)
laura Hi Jenny and Lucy :) Yes they do have great offers for cruises too ;) and what I really like is their advice. You cannot get it anywhere else :) What would you like to know Jenny?? I will try to help as much as I can, but if you need something very specific, I would recommend to give TourAmerica. ie a ring. I am sure they will be able to answer any questions you might have ;)
