Woke up at 11am instead of 8am, unfortunately we slept through the alarm. Yes we was disappointed with ourselves, we prefer to make the most of the day, oh dear! Although we needed the rest after nights of short sleeps :) We booked a safari to the desert in 4x4, it was due to pick us up at 3pm. We walked around and explored the 'Internet City', interesting that Dubai have divided all the areas into category, such as Media city (for broadcasting etc including BBC World News), Internet City (for technologies), Mall City (for shopping centres) also Healthcare City (for hospital, dentist etc). We went to a supermarket and discovered lots of British foods such as crisp, cereal etc. Davy couldn't be more happier seeing Irn Bru as seeing he is Scottish! They even have Kettle crisp! Anyhoo, we bought several foods to save us money from spending at restaurant, such as breakfast and packed lunch :) We waited in the lobby for the safari tour, to our amaze it was Hummer 4x4 turning up for us! It was such beautiful car and I get to the front seat! The driver made his way to the desert and suddenly went off the road, roaring through the desert dunes. Plenty of bumpy rides even went over 60 degree sideway! It was so fun :) Went on sandboarding, rode camel beside the sunset. The tour provided us dinner and dancing shows. I really enjoyed myself on this particular evening. The evening has come to end, and we got on the Hummer and was on our way back through desert in the dark, pretty scary eh. Night all :)
